CAS Welcomes 2024 Spring Class of New Associates and Fellows

Over 300 insurance industry professionals recently earned their Associateship (ACAS) or Fellowship (FCAS) credentials from the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) by passing examinations given during the CAS’s Fall 2023 exam sitting.

The new classes of credential holders include 298 new Associates and 114 new Fellows; all have successfully completed the examinations, online courses, VEE requirements, and the Course on Professionalism required to earn CAS designations. The full list of names can be found online; recipients will be honored at a future CAS meeting.

For over 100 years, the CAS has been setting the standard of expertise, credibility, and professional integrity for the P&C actuarial profession, and the new credential holders join a vibrant community of over 10,000 CAS members sought after for their insights and ability to apply analytics to solve insurance and risk management problems.

"As we welcome our latest members, we celebrate the wealth of new perspectives, skills, and contributions they bring to the actuarial profession," said CAS President Frank Chang. "The attainment of CAS credentials underscores a strong dedication to the values and ambitions we uphold, ensuring that our profession's standards remain unparalleled. CAS actuaries are helping companies harness new data, take advantage of innovative methodologies and leverage advances in technology. Our members continue to be invaluable assets to employers and organizations worldwide."
